Daily Events
Friday, September 15th – National Specialty and Annual Meeting. For those who have never been to either, please consider attending. You don’t have to show your Fauve in conformation. There will be lots to try with your Fauve by learning from trick training or FastCAT (100 yard dash for dogs in a fenced area). Additionally, there will opportunities to learn about grooming. But most of all, enjoy meeting other Fauve lovers and their beloved companions!
Saturday, September 16th – Open Show
Sunday, September 17th – Open Show
Monday, September 18th – Hunt Test/Seminar to be held at the Eastern Missouri Beagle Club
Friday through Sunday there will be FastCAT available––But you need to register the day the entries open due to it filling extremely fast!

This downloadable Specialty Premium file contains all the weekend information. It also contains the AKC form to fill out to participate in events.

Fauve Title Recognition at the National Specialty
This year at our Clubs’ 1st Nationals being held in September at Purina Farms the Basset Fauve de Bretagne Club of America would like to recognize all titles your Fauve has earned with a special Award Certificate for your dogs’ accomplishments.
So, if you are a member of the BFdBCA we want to acknowledge your dog. It doesn’t matter if it is an AKC title, UKC, NASDA, NASCSW, Therapy Dog or any other recognition we want to recognize you and your dog’s accomplishments.
In order to do so I need you to submit to me by AUGUST 31,2023 the following information as you want it to be written on the Award.
- Registered Name of Dog
- Call Name
- Owners Name
- List of Titles you want recognized in the order you want them on the Certificate.
Please make it legible and the correct spelling because I’m not going to be familiar with all these titles. It would also help to include what the title is. For example, the title SD-1 Shed Dog 1 is a NASDA title (North American Sports Dog Association).

RV Camping Reservation Form
Reservations are taken on a first-come; first-served basis and are assigned based on length of equipment (rig)
and space availability. If confirmed, you will receive an emailed confirmation and a payment link so you can
pay at your convenience. Our RV Engagement Specialist will respond back to your reservation request within 5-
7 business days to let you know whether your reservation is confirmed. Full payment must be received before
the space can be confirmed and finalized.

Grooming Reservation Form
- Thursday, 9/14/2023 @ 3:00 – Sunday, 9/17/2023
- Reservations will not be accepted until 7/1/2023
- Fee is $25.00 for each 5 X 10 space with electricity for the entire event.
- Reserved spaces are limited and will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis. The area will be clearly marked.
- No request for a particular spot or to be set up near someone else will be honored unless reservations are mailed together.
- Reservations will be accepted until August 31, 2023.
