Fundraising Committee Responsibilities
The Fundraising Committee supports the financial health of the Club through board-approved fundraising activities. The committee is comprised of a board-appointed chair, the treasurer, and volunteer club members.
Responsibilities are the following.
- Develop fundraising plans and initiatives that will financially support the goals of the Club.
- Coordinate and manage fundraising initiatives tied to specific, designated purposes including, but not limited to, health research, trophies, ribbons, awards, or general Club operations.
- Identify the intended use of donated funds and ensure that donor intent is documented and honored.
- Coordinate with the treasurer to track restricted and unrestricted funds appropriately.
- Submit supporting documentation to the treasurer.
