February 14, 2025 AKC Update: At the February 2025 Board meeting, the AKC Board of Directors approved the Basset Fauve de Bretagne to be eligible to compete in the Hound Group effective December 31, 2025. The studbook will remain open until December 31, 2030.
This is great news for all Fauve fanciers, and especially those who have worked hard behind the scenes to achieve this goal. Many thanks to those individuals!
