Cindi’s earliest memories are with her father’s Retrievers and Pointing dogs. He was her first obedience teacher and before she knew it, she was training dogs in obedience. That was more than 60 years ago. She has titled German Shorthaired Pointers in Novice, Open and Utility. She has titled 2 dogs in AKC Scent work and C-WAGS. She has titled more GSPs in hunt test than she can even remember, at least 10, maybe 15. Along with her husband Michael, they are Pointing Breed Hunting Test Judges. Cindi has also shown and titled many GSPs in conformation and continues to do so. She has been showing her Fauve for almost one year. She has completed her UKC conformation Title and we continue to show in AKC/FSS.

Cindi has held officer positions in several GSP and Pointing breed clubs and performance clubs. Most recently ending a year as the Director of Training in the Murfreesboro Obedience Training Club. Professionally she was a Veterinary Medical Assistant and a Veterinary Administrative Assistant for 29 years, a HS Cook for 8 years, and her last “fun” job was at a Garden Center. She makes Stained Glass and has sold her work all over the country, mostly as Dog Show Trophies but also under private commission. Cindi loves her glasswork and other crafts.

She has 7 dogs, 5 GSPs and 2 “Fauves.” Xexe ( 1 year old) and Bruno (13 weeks). She has already started Xexe in Tracking and Scent Work. She looks forward to running Xexe and Bruno in the field after rabbits but she does a pretty good job on flushing birds too!
